Infrastructure:

  • Fully air-Conditioned Ejlash, Judges Chamber, Conference Room & attached with the Mediation Room.
  • Separate dedicated room for Mediation proceedings.
  • The Ejlash of this Court is equipped with audio conferencing system including sound system.
  • The Ejlash is equipped with a fully dedicated witness Box and glass partitioned Areas for the litigants as well as the Ld. Members of the Bar.
  • Strict compliance of COVID-19 protocols as issued by the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta, the Ld. District judge, Paschim Bardhaman, Central Government / State Government is maintained. Thermal Screening is done regularly. Hand Sanitizer is kept at different location in this Court premises and if necessary, checking is also done through Oximeter.
  • Sufficient infrastructure exists for virtual hearing with Laptop with separate audio system.
  • A dedicated Server through which all orders and/or judgments in each and every case is uploaded regularly in the NJDG.
  • Display Board in the Reception area of this Court, for display of item nos. with monitor and facilities.
  • Stable networking through GPON connection from BSNL subject to unforeseen disruptions from time to time.
  • The court premise is situated at "Shramik Bhaban", Labour Department office Building at temporary location. A permanent location is being set up at a short distance from this temporary location and the land for this purpose has been acquired by the department concerned. Further development and building construction plan is under process before P.W.D, Asansol.
  • The Court Complex is well equipped with WiFi services, waiting room / lounge for the Ld. Advocates / Litigants, Mediation Centre, Video Conference room and other amenities encompassing basic infrastructure required for the smooth running of this court.
