Born on March 31, 1961. Enrolled as Advocate on February 2, 1987. Practised on Tax, Civil and Constitutional sides in the Supreme Court of India at New Delhi. Appointed as Judge of the High Court of Madhya Pradesh on January 18, 2008 and Permanent Judge on January 15, 2010.

His Lordship has been sworn in as the Chief Justice of High Court at Calcutta on 11th October, 2021.
